About Us

Our Story
New Day Home Care was founded with a simple but powerful belief: every person deserves to age with dignity, comfort, and compassion in the place they call home. Rooted in Warren County, New Jersey, we understand the close-knit communities we serve and the values that matter most to local families.
Our journey began when our founders experienced firsthand the challenges of finding reliable, compassionate home care for their own loved ones. That personal experience sparked a commitment to building an agency that treats every client like family — because we know what it feels like to entrust someone with the care of the people you love most.
Today, New Day Home Care serves families throughout Warren County and surrounding areas with a full range of home care services. From personal care and companionship to specialized memory care and 24/7 live-in support, we are here to help your loved one live their best life — every day.

Our Team
The people behind New Day
Every member of our team shares one thing in common — a genuine calling to care for others.
Terry Bartell
Co-Founder & Director of Operations
With over 30 years in the medical field, Terry Bartell brings deep clinical knowledge and heartfelt compassion to every aspect of New Day Home Care.
In my work, I have been a CEO of Infinity Clinical’s diagnostic laboratories, a Director of Phlebotomy Services for ACCU laboratories, a Registered Nurse (RN), a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) and spent the last ten years doing private living care, which I ardently adore.
This work fulfills me endlessly, and due to being a regimented, detail-oriented person who loves gardening, crafts, traveling, and most importantly experiencing the beauties of new lifestyles; every individual I help is a person I appreciate. Their stories are powerful, a blessing to share, hear, and listen to.
The light of a new day shines on all of us, and my goal is to always ensure that gift shines for any who feels lost or forgotten too.
Garrett Bartell
Director of Care Coordination
As Director of Care Coordination, Garrett ensures every caregiver-client match reflects New Day’s standards of dignity, reliability, and compassion. I have over 19 years of caregiving experience. I am a Certified Home Health Aide who has had the privilege of supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities. Caregiving has deeply shaped who I am, both personally and within my community.
To me, caregiving goes beyond daily tasks — it’s about being present, offering comfort, and treating each person with dignity and respect. I bring patience, kindness, and compassion to every interaction, whether through conversation, assistance, or simply being there so no one feels alone.
This work is more than a job; it’s a calling. I truly care for those I support and am honored to be someone they can trust and depend on.
Denise Baldwin
Caregiver
I bring both deep clinical experience and personal caregiving insight to the work I do every day. I have over eight years of professional experience in hospital clinical settings, working in cardiology and telemetry, where I monitored patient heart rhythms, performed hands-on EKGs, stress testing, and served as a rapid response and Code Blue responder.
Beyond my professional background, my most meaningful experience comes from my personal journey. As a daughter, I was solely responsible for my father’s care during the final five and a half years of his life. He moved into my home, and I cared for him 24/7. That experience gave me a deep, firsthand understanding of not only medical and daily care needs, but also the emotional support, patience, dignity, and compassion that every individual deserves.
I approach caregiving with empathy, respect, and genuine commitment. My goal is simple: to treat every person exactly as I would want my own loved one to be treated. For me, caregiving is not just a profession — it is a responsibility I carry with heart, purpose, and compassion.
Megan Baldwin
Caregiver
My name is Megan Baldwin, and I earned my bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences with a pre-medical focus from Rutgers University, where I built a strong foundation in health and clinical sciences. I bring hands-on patient care experience as a volunteer EMT and as a medical assistant in a fast-paced urgent care setting, where I have spent the past three years supporting patients across a wide range of needs.
Through these roles, I have developed strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and a calm, compassionate approach to patient-centered care. I am CPR certified and committed to maintaining the competencies necessary to respond effectively in both routine and emergency situations.
These experiences have solidified my passion for nursing and reinforced my dedication to providing attentive, respectful care. I am proud to bring this commitment to home healthcare, where I strive to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of patients and their families.
